Higher Education

The Geography Department aims to encourage all students to pursue further studies at a centre of Higher Education appropriate to their individual interests.

To ensure that this experience is as positive as possible, we aim to encourage all students to embark on an extensive programme of visits, research and discussion with subject staff.

All students who take up Geography in the Sixth Form will be:

(i) encouraged to further develop their enthusiasm for the subject at University and where appropriate we will

(ii) encourage students to apply to appropriate Oxbridge Colleges.

Students who choose to study Geography at a higher level will be given additional support which will include extension reading material and interview training.
