A small reference library is maintained within the Department. This is split up amongst the teaching classrooms.

The main school library has a large subject specific section. Members of the Department are urged to encourage its use by the students and to recommend new books to the Librarian for purchase.

Course textbooks are normally issued to classes at the beginning of the school year. Book return takes place in June. Books are accounted for before the clearance sheet is signed.

Where books are lost or damaged the Head of Department’s advice on cost should be sought and the relevant amount charged on the clearance sheet.
